The Center for Algorithms and Interactive Scientific Software (CAISS) at The City College of New York is home to a wide range of researchers and supports a range of projects. These include a number of open-source software projects in computational algebra, symbolic mathematics, statistics, computational biology and scientific computation.
Twice a year, CAISS hosts conferences on topics of interest to researchers in a range of disciplines. The Fall 2006 Conference will take place at CCNY on November 10, 2006. It will be concerned with Various faces of cryptography.
