The Open Source Lab at City College

In the Spring of 2004, Timothy Daly gave a series of lectures on Open Source Software. This has led to the construction by CAISS of a new Open Source Lab which will be completed by December 2004. The plan is to involve a number of computer science undergraduates in open source projects, thereby adding to the strength of the Computer Science Department and providing students with the skills to work independently and effectively in industry.
