On algebraic geometry over soluble groups

We prove that free soluble groups of any classes and any ranks are equationally Noetherian. We describe algebraic sets in free metabelian groups and in wreath products of free abelian groups. Some results are proved joint with Kanta Gupta and some with Vladimir Remeslennikov.

Friday, February 9th
Tea: 3:30 p.m. 4th Floor Mathematics Lounge
Seminar: 4 p.m. 5th Floor, Room 5417
